MEET THE TEAM

Gwendolyn Clubb Lau

  • Gwendolyn Lau comes to pastoring by way of the theatre. Following an undergraduate degree in Musical Theatre performance, she moved to Plano to begin a public school teaching role. While teaching, she met and married Dustin Lau in 2003. She eventually left the classroom and completed an MA in Humanities, Studies in Literature, as well as an MA in Biblical and Theological Studies. Between papers and finals, she and Dustin had two daughters, Kiana Rose and Elliana Ray.

Having served at Preston Trail Community Church in a variety of roles (from a character named Catfish Sue to Young Adult Pastor; from Residency Director to Director of an adult educational program named Equip) over a 22-year span, Gwen sensed God’s calling to go into the world for Jesus in a new way and to reach a different group of people that might not ever step foot in a church.

Her passion is for those who may feel distant or even disqualified from Jesus to find a rich and satisfying life in Christ.

When not leading Grace House, Gwen is proud to be Dustin’s wife and Kiana and Ellie’s mom… and mom to their rescue pup, Sir Thomas. She can be found spending much of her time cheering on the high school band or watching the choir performances of her girls. She loves to read, laugh and collect anything Chewbacca… or Lord of the Rings.

KATY ENCALADE

  • Katy Encalade is honored to be part of Grace House Community Church and has an unwavering passion for spreading the love of Jesus to all. She is committed to helping provide an environment where ALL can come to learn about, grow in, and explore their faith in God. As the Executive Director of Egg Donor & Surrogate Solutions, she has the privilege of assisting individuals and couples in realizing their dreams of starting a family. Beyond her professional endeavors, Katy is a loving wife to Blake and a proud mother to three incredible tween/teenagers. While juggling her children's busy schedules, she finds solace in indulging in her favorite pastimes, such as reading, practicing yoga, and avidly listening to a wide range of podcasts. Katy's unwavering commitment to her family, her faith, and her work is truly inspiring.

Christopher keane

  • Christopher Keane is a Texas native from the DFW area. He comes to Grace House with experience in human resources, finance, and the madness of small business operations. After a recent season in Minneapolis, MN, he returned to Texas to help support other queer Christians like himself through his church and favorite non-profit, CenterPeace. When not busy at work, he enjoys travel, time with his family, experiences with friends and watching too many TikTok’s daily.

Toni Alexander

  • Hi! I’m Toni Alexander. Growing up as a bi-sexual woman, I was a broken, loving woman looking for the extravagant love of Jesus Christ and God. I never felt that all of me could be accepted by the “church.” So, that meant God and Jesus couldn’t love all of me either. But I still wanted to believe. Now I know that ALL means ALL. “All” of us, “all” of me, and “all” as in everything! I hope I get to meet you one day, and we can hug and know we are both seen, loved, and valued for who we are.

Scott Roderick Bergeron

  • Scott Bergeron is so excited to be part of Grace House Community Church. He has a deep passion for teaching the truth about God’s love for ALL people, which we experience through Jesus Christ. He works as a full-time Clinical Pharmacist, but he studied at Central Bible College in Springfield, MO, and received a Bachelor of Divinity from World Evangelism Bible College in Baton Rouge, LA. He did one year of further pastoral training at Rhema Bible Training Center in Tulsa, OK. People who meet Scott quickly realize he has a deep love for world travel, commercial aviation, Birkenstocks, and man bags. He lives in McKinney, TX with his amazing husband Luke Yin, and their crazy three rescue dogs. He looks forward to the opportunity to help us ALL know and experience the true love of God in our everyday lives.

BEN GRIERSON

  • Ben Grierson wants to use his life to help others in whatever way he can. In December, he graduated from UT, Austin, with a Bachelor of Science in Sports Management. Ben has recently returned to his native Frisco, Texas, and works as a Highland Homes construction manager.

In his free time, he enjoys running, rock climbing, and being a grateful member of the awesome Grierson clan, where he is a son, brother, and uncle. Excited to be part of Grace House Community Church, Ben wants to bring awareness, learning, and collaboration around the assistance of those hurting in our community and world. If even one life is made easier through his efforts, he finds it a life well lived.

Londa Grierson

  • Londa is excited to join Grace House in the mission of sharing the love and radical acceptance of God to ALL people.

She has been actively serving in churches since she was a teenager. Her faith has grown from the seed of a simple prayer in a Baptist church into a complex tree embracing the mystery of God evident in experience, creation and scripture.

Having been a middle school teacher and physical therapist, Londa currently owns a small business called Bricks 4 Kidz in Frisco and works as a Client Care Coordinator for Home Instead in Plano. She is married to her high school sweetheart, John, and they have four adult kids, one granddaughter, two dogs and a cat. She loves going for walks or bike rides, listening to live music and eating great food with family and friends.

Elizabeth stafford

  • Elizabeth is thrilled to be part of the Grace House team. Something she loves about our church is that we don’t just say we welcome ALL we mean it! She is also passionate about being in a space where wrestling with the tough questions about faith isn’t just tolerated but celebrated.

Elizabeth brings a wealth of experience in Operations and Management in the Business, Pharmaceuticals and Mental Health fields and looks forward to partnering with the team to help things run smoothly behind the scenes.

Elizabeth is kept busy by 4 four-legged family members, all named after players from her beloved Boston Red Sox. In her off-time, Elizabeth is an avid reader, loves to travel and cook and has been known to bust out her sourdough starter to bake bread for our communion celebrations.
